Alex looked up at the sky, seeing all the stars glowing brightly, right along with the moon. They were a duo, never to break, never to die without each other, like Adam and Eve. Alex sighed out, closing his eyes, listening to the wind sway around him, moving the grass and leaves of the trees, his bangs also getting affected, making it billow in the air flow.

Alex hugged his knees against his chest tighter, resting his head against the tree he was currently resting on. He let out a shaky breath, before opening his eyes again, starting to sing

“Can't remember just how it ended
I'm hazy as to how it began
Crazy how our lives got so tangled
Now we're simply silent partners again
Secretly walking a tightrope
Come fall into the arms of the past-“

Alex looked up at the sky again, feeling his eyes start to water up, his vision going blurry. He felt hot tears start to go down his face as he studied the stars.

“Cause it's still the same me
Still the same you
Who swore those promises would still ring true..

So when your heart cries out
In the middle of a sleepless night
And your suddenly so lonely
When seconds count
Count on me, count on me-“

Alex started to cry out, hugging his legs tightly as he shook with sobs, yet was still looking at the starts and the moon, singing the song he came to love and hate with a burning passion.

Special moments taken for granted
Tenderness that found no reward
Funny how you'd speak of forever
Only to wind up restless and bored
Can sweethearts so suddenly strangers
Recapture in a moment of fire-

Well it's the same me
Still the same you
The same two children deep down it's true-“

Alex’s breath started to hitch as he broke down into sobs and cries of heartbreak, as his whole body trembled in agony. He brought his hands up to his head and pulled on his hair, looking at the ground between his legs, resting his arms on his knees, clamping his eyes tightly, still singing.

"So when your heart cries out
In the middle of a sleepless night
And you're lost and feeling lonely
When seconds count
Count on me, count on me
When your dreams die hard
And you're stranded out on the boulevard
I'll be there in a heartbeat
When seconds count
Count on me, count on me

I'm going back in time to how it used to be-"

Alex slowly, but surely, started to stand up, holding the tree for support since his legs were trembling and almost gave out. He looked around, wiping his eyes clear of any tears left/ Alex looked up at the sky, a small- yet sad-smile on his face. He started to sing again, letting his arms drop to his sides, just swinging there.

"Now it's a race with time
Until I change your mind

So when your heart cries out
In the middle of a sleepless night
And you're lost and feeling lonely
When seconds count
Count on me, count on me
When your dreams die hard
And you're stranded out on the boulevard
I'll be there in a heartbeat
When seconds count-

"Count on me, you can always count on me.." Alex finished, nothing more than a whisper. He started to slowly walk away from the spot he was currently at, never turning around to look at the mess that was previously in front of him.

"The moon and the stars are like a duo, never to break, never to die without each other. If they were separated, they would be nothing, just a thing that is sour to the eyes, looking as though it should have never been there in the first place. They were like, as to say, Adam and Eve."
